Your mission

Our production and assembly processes are mostly outsourced to different suppliers abroad. Your activities are focused on getting the right product at the right time, location, and quantity against the lowest possible costs.

You are responsible for managing your own product set, but you will be closely working with your team of 9 Supply Chain Planners located in the Netherlands, Portugal, and France. The team is very supportive and diverse. We are looking for a go-getting colleague who will take the initiative. Dorel Juvenile is a complex international organization where many different stakeholders and systems work together. You can contribute to improving processes and make a big impact on efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Ordering products to our European warehouses in line with contract agreements, optimizing costs and availability.
  • Taking ownership of the complete ordering process, monitoring delivery times, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with Demand Coordinators to ensure product availability per market.
  • Providing suppliers with regular forecasts.
  • Contributing to a controlled introduction and phasing out of products.
  • Managing European inventory levels to balance demand and availability.

Your profile

  • A completed a bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Logistics or matching experience in a similar field.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures in an international environment, experience in this is a big plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to filter the right information from large datasets.
  • Experience in similar planning roles and working with ERP systems, M3 experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is a must.

What we offer

  • A salary between 2500 and 3600 a month based on your experience and knowledge, with room to grow.
  • This is a position for 32-40 hours per week, depending on your preferences.
  • You will first receive an annual contract with a probation time of one month.
  • You are eligible for a 13th month every year.
  • The option to work hybrid up to 3 days, with a minimum of 2 joint office days.
  • The annual leave entitlements consist of 28 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
  • Extensive retirement plan.
  • Other terms include travel expenses, use of a laptop and telephone if required, option to purchase extra holiday hours, Bicycle Plan and collective health insurance.
  • Besides work there is time for fun such as team outings and every Tuesday you can workout with your colleagues in the office in our ‘Workout on Wheels’ bootcamp.
