Students Erasmus University Rotterdam visited Dorel Juvenile in Helmond

Last week 50 students from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam visited Dorel Juvenile in Helmond. They learned about process management - new style. Besides the learning aspect, they experienced how our products are being made, by visiting our partners DPI (injection moulds) and Atlant Group (assembly).

Sharing knowledge

Our President and CEO Charles de Kervénoaël welcomed the students. Marco Bijl, Business Quality Assurance Manager, continued the session by sharing knowledge by a guest lecture. He described the new way of process management, which is in line with the new ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The students not only listened, but put their knowledge into practice by working on a business case. Like real process designers they designed a European 'order to cash' process, and presented it at the end of that day.
