Safety 1st Uses Live Video to Promote Air Protect Tour

Dorel Juvenile's Safety 1st brand's Air Protect Tour is in full swing and made a successful stop in Agawam, MA yesterday. A major highlight of the day was a Facebook live video featuring Misadventures in Mommyhood blogger Kristin Quinn. Quinn walked viewers through the event, showcasing the Air Protect Tour tent and Safety 1st products. She also talked with our own Brand Ambassador and CPST instructor Daniel Dias about car seat installation and our mission to bring safety to families everywhere.

Looking Forward

Jennie Freedman, Consumer Engagement Manager, is excited about the potential for live video. "Using Facebook live video as a tool is a natural evolution for our social marketing strategy. It gives us the ability to engage intimately with our consumers in a way that immediately generates awareness about our events and products. Look for more to come as we move into the future!"

Making News

In addition to the Facebook video, the event was also featured across three of the major local news stations during the six o’clock news hour. Coverage included FOX reporter Jeff Cramer’s segment which highlighted the car seat checks, showcased our Safety 1st car seat demos, and included a clip of Dias’s interview in which he discussed the Safety 1st mission to educate parents.

The Agawam stop coincided with National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign across the United States that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, better places to live.
