We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales, Training & Merchandising Representative to join our sales team who enjoys working in a fast past, challenging and rewarding environment.

Your mission

To work within a fast paced, hands-on environment to drive forward strategic plans, within the independent & specialty environment, building robust relationships and cement Dorel presence across the industry selling world class nursery hard goods products. The position is well suited for an aspiring individual with a passion towards a sales career and is ready for the next level. Your mission is to build robust relationships and cement Dorel presence across the industry selling world class nursery hard goods products. In this position you report to the General Manager Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for ensuring our brands are well represented within the independent and specialty channels • Working every second weekend at expos and ‘in-store selling’ with stores • Working with stores to ensure they are trained continuously on our brands and products identifying any further needs. • Merchandising and driving better in-store display across National Retailers • Generate promotional plans that consists of catalogue, in store and online strategies • Delivery of budgeted sales for your territory • Management of in-store sales consultants

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you will have: • Minimum 3 years experience within the nursery or similar industries would be advantageous • Proven record of growing sales • Solution oriented • Excellent verbal communication skills • The ability to interact with people on all levels • The ability to develop strong relationships across stores & the fitters community • Sound computer skills
