Your mission

We are currently seeking a collaborative, dynamic and analytical Human Resources professional to join the US HR team as a HR Business Partner at our Foxboro, MA location. The HRBP will work with a diverse employee population, and must be capable of balancing employee needs with business objectives and bringing creative, innovative solutions to resolve complex business and HR challenges. Candidates must be comfortable designing and deploying company-wide HR initiatives, programs and processes, juggling multiple priorities, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Successful individuals will possess a proven track record of leading change, anticipating challenges and providing solutions that add value and drive employee engagement. This individual is a liaison between all levels of local and corporate management; this is a “hands on” position that requires interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization. This position will report directly the Sr. Director of Human Resources and will have a strong dotted-line to Sr. Leadership in Foxboro, MA.


Key responsibilities

• Team: Act as a trusted business adviser to company management and assigned business units on all issues related to human resources. Coach, develop, educate and support employees and managers on HR matters and issues; guide and direct effective conflict resolutions. Drive change initiatives throughout the organization. • Talent Management: Create and execute recruiting plans for future and current needs. Lead the performance assessment program by assisting teammates and departmental management in the proper preparation and completion of the assessments and advise on compensation adjustments when necessary in their areas of responsibility. Provide education for assessors. • Talent Development: Create and execute training strategy for the organization. Facilitate career development and succession planning. Identify future competency needs arising from the development of the organization. • Employee Engagement: Create and drive activities that foster high levels of employee engagement and emotional involvement. Facilitate open communication and proactive employee relations. • Policies & Processes: Develop and manage HR policies and procedures for Local and Corporate HR Departments. Create all functional process documentation. • HR Administration: Manage and maintain HR reporting systems, including monthly metrics. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local regulations. Monitor and advise management of upcoming changes to employment landscape. Maintain superior levels of trust and credibility with all employees by consistent ethical and legal application of management policies and practices. Ambassador and Community Steward: Develop excellent working relationships with internal resources and various external organizations that align with company mission and values to champion positive employee experiences, Dorel Juvenile US and our brands. Build partnerships with educators and educational institutions.


Your profile

Education, Licenses, and/or Certification Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. • PHR or SHRM-CP designation highly preferred. Experience and Skills • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally with a consumer products company. • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. • Excellent communication interpersonal and change management skills. • Ability to lead and influence others. • Demonstrated ability in managerial courage. • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and implement practical employee relations solutions. • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach a diverse employee population in a matrix environment. • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws as well as EEO and Affirmative Action. • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and HRIS systems. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
