Your missionDorel Juvenile US is looking for an experienced Director of Brand Marketing with a demonstrated history working for or with branded consumer products to join our team at our Design and Development Center HQ in Foxboro, MA. Skilled in brand strategy, digital marketing, campaign creation, campaign measurement and analytics, creative development, and overseeing content production. You’re a builder of respected and loved brands, with a history of creating successful, memorable campaigns and launches. You have a strong understanding of how brands grow in the social age and targeting the important touch-points through the consumer’s journey. You are comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced work environment, and can adapt to a rapidly evolving landscape. You’re an experienced strategic thinker who can pitch bold new ideas and frameworks to management.
Key responsibilitiesCreate and maintain the Marketing Plan for Dorel’s brands in the US, chiefly Maxi-Cosi and Safety 1st . Architect and manage the personality and meaning of our brands across all aspects of the marketing mix. Work with inside and outside resources to develop the strategy for and oversee the execution of product launch campaigns. Guide our in-house creative teams to deliver on-strategy, high-quality results. Nurture and grow the Brand Management team for DJ US.
Your profile10+ years of relevant experience within a digital marketing, advertising, media, agency or creative environment involving branded consumer products. Experience with nationally known brands aimed at millennial consumers preferred. A consistent track record of planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns. Must have the ability to synthesize complex consumer, marketplace and product dynamics into a clear strategy aimed at solid brand growth. Broad experience creating brand building and product launch campaigns using a full suite of modern marketing tools required. Inspiring leader with experience building and managing a diverse brand marketing team comprised of both internal and external partners for all brand campaign development taking into account all consumer touch-points such as in-store, ecommerce, social media and influencers. Excellent instincts around creative work, both for emotion and authenticity as well as connection to business and campaign goals. Must have a strong understanding and a view on marketing technology solutions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to write and deliver persuasive presentations is critical. Strong analytical and data skills. Ability to interpret ongoing research data to guide, influence, and expertly inform campaign recommendations. Strong cross-functional and agency management experience, with the ability to take a brand strategy and bring it to life across multiple consumer touch-points. Experience with activation across social, email, in-store activations, events and digital media.
