Your missionDorel Juvenile is looking for a Brand Ambassador based in Miami, FL area to cover our Southeast and Central US territory. This is a full time position and will work remotely reporting to the Sales Director based in Foxboro, MA.
Key responsibilitiesIn this position you will be responsible for setting up, scheduling, planning and executing trainings for Retailers: •Coordinate with team members as well as Sales reps to ensure they are training their local stores. •Contact retailers through necessary processes to schedule appointments with them. •Ensure all materials and samples are available for training (requires shipping, and transporting in some cases). You will also merchandise within stores being trained: •Ensure POPs, catalogs and other merchandising tools are available and accessible to consumers •Ensure floor samples are clean, functioning properly and well displayed •Capture competitive intelligence on other brands & products •Setting up windows and displays when needed. You will be required to report weekly on feedback on our products, POP materials and areas for improvement from consumers, retailers and store associates. Participate and coordinate both retailer and potentially some consumer events as needed. You will staff the Dorel Juvenile brands space in some key locations twice a month (probably Saturday or Sunday) or as needed. Consumer-facing interactions by performing product demonstrations and engaging customers with our brands as needed.
Your profileBS/BA in Sales/Marketing or related Business concentration along with 0-2 years experience within a similar fast paced sales and marketing environment. Retail experience a plus. Must be a team player with a flexible attitude and have the ability to work independently. Strong organizational and follow-up skills required. Handle ambiguous situations and look for creative solutions for problems. Must have strong communication skills and ability to grow and maintain account relationships. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Must have a valid driver’s license as work environment is primarily retail locations. Flexibility to travel up to 80% outside of home territory required. . Territory includes: Southeast US as well as Central US.
